Gerard Deulofeu moves on loan to Watford



Barcelona attacking prodigy, Gerard Deulofeu,  has moved on from the Camp Nou  (Barcelona home grounds) for a season long loan to Watford, in the English Premiere league.

The 23-year old moved from the Premiere league last season to Barcelona, where he started his youthful career before moving on to find greener pastures outside Spain. The right winger has spent some good times with Everton and Italian giants, AC Milan during 2017, (on loan deal). He was later signed for a fee of £10.80m from Everton at the end of his loan deal to FC Barcelona, last season.

Despite the summer sale of Neymar, from Barcelona to PSG, Deulofeu has struggled for playing time in the  blaugrana shirt. He managed to start only 10 out of 17  appearances in all competitions during his campaign at Barcelona. The recent addition of Dembele and Coutinho from Dortmund and Liverpool respectively, meant he had limited chances so was due for a move for more playing time elsewhere.

Liverpool FC fans embrace Mo Salah with a new chant: ” I’ll be a Muslim too”

Fans of the Merseyside side, Liverpool FC have embraced the 2017 BBC African footballer of the year Mohammed Salah with a new chat that celebrates his faith.

“Mo Sa-la-la-la-lah, Mo Sa-la-la-la-lah, if he’s good enough for you, he’s good enough for me, if he scores another few, then I’ll be Muslim too,” fans have been filmed chanting from the stadiums to the pubs as they watch the 25-year-old forward’s footwork at play.

“He’s sitting in the mosque, that’s where I want to be.” The rhyme continues.

The Pharaohs” skipper is now becoming the darling of the “Reds” as he continues to perform incredibly this season.

He has become the thirteenth player to have scored his 30th goal in a season on Wednesday, against Porto. A history of Liverpool’s 125-year existence.

FC Barcelona’s forward, Luis Suarez was the last player to achieve 30 goals in a season for Liverpool in April 2014.

Arsenal striker Lacazette out for 6 weeks



Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is out for up to six weeks after encountering minor knee surgery.

The 26-year old was anticipated to be in the squad list to face Ostersunds on Thursdays Europa League clash but due to his injury, will be on the sidelines to just witness the action.

The Gunners said in a on offical statement:

“Striker Alex Lacazette had an arthroscopy on his left knee in London on Tuesday morning.

“The minor procedure was a success and he will now undergo a period of rehabilitation.

“It is envisaged that he will return to the squad within four to six weeks.”

This could leave Danny Welbeck to prove his prowers as he is set to lead the attacking front at Ostersunds on Thursdays epic game for Arsene Wenger and his squad as they are not featured in this year’s Uefa Champions League proper.

Marcelo believes Neymar will join Real Madrid



Brazilian full-back Marcelo belives his compatriot, Neymar will join Real Madrid in the future, adding fuels to an already sparkling flame with the rumors of Neymar moving to Santiago Bernabeu

Neymar just completed his shocking world-record €222 million transfer to Paris Saint-Germain last August but Madrid can’t hide their admiration about the ex Barcelona forward and would do anything to acquire his services sooner or later.

Marcelo, expressed his desire to see the PSG talisman to join him and other Brazilion, Casemiro at the Spanish capital.  “I think Neymar will play for Real Madrid one day,” Marcelo told Esporte Interativo ahead of Madrid’s palatable clash with PSG in the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday.

“Would Neymar fit at Real Madrid? He would fit, for sure.

“It would be great if he came to Real Madrid.

“In my opinion the great players have to play at this club.”

Real president Florentino Perez has not been quiet on the possibility of dragging Neymar to Madrid. He was unclear on who will take the mantle from Ronaldo and Messi in the future but would put all his bet on Neymar to step into the shoes of the best two footballers now in our era.

“It’s difficult to see who will take the leadership away from Cristiano [Ronaldo] and [Lionel] Messi,” said Perez in December.

“Being at Madrid would make it easier for Neymar to win it [the Ballon d’Or]. Madrid is a club that gives big players what they need.”

For now, time and conditions at PSG will tell where the prolific attacker will end in the future.
